Challenging the Management Status Quo
August 10, 8.30-10.00
Gates Bldg. HP Auditorium

A global revolution is changing business and business is changing the world," begins the opening paragraph from an article in Fast Company's Handbook of the Business Revolution. How things are changing and the speed at which they are changing is having an impact on how we all do our jobs every day. "Challenging the Management Status Quo" will discuss how you can become a more effective manager in a time when old management rules no longer work. We will take a look at old management styles and why they aren't effective anymore. And we will discuss new management skills and how they can help you succeed with a new generation of business leaders.
