INTRODUCTORY WORKSHOP

November 2000, Concluded

A one-day introductory workshop, briefly covering aspects of library facility planning and construction, featuring library building consultant David Smith. This is the first in a series of three workshops.

The workshop is intended for California public library managers and administrators, community members and local officials, whether or not they are currently planning a library facility project.

There will be a general introduction and update on the bond act, as well as an overview of public library - school library cooperative agreements and projects.
