Christine Chen

Lauren Gold and Christine Chen My name is Christine Chen, and I am an incoming sophomore at Stanford University majoring in Computer Science. Anne Marie hired me this summer to maintain and develop the website for the Stanford Institute on 21st Century Librarianship. I have been making webpages (for personal use) for about four years now, and I am also interested in computer programming (so far I have had experience in C, a little C++, and a little Javascript).

Christine Chen I have been working since I was in seventh grade, first as a secretary or errand-runner at my father's wholesale company, then as a customer service representative at Factory 2 U, a telemarketer at Pacific Monarch Resorts, a desk associate at Ann Taylor, a reader for the Disabilities Resource Center at Stanford, and finally this current job.

My other interests include reading (favorites are Catch-22, Lolita, Song of Solomon, Remains of the Day), writing, and playing tennis.
