I look forward to meeting you all in just two and a half weeks (yikes!)
My entire library experience has been at Dartmouth College Library in Hanover,
New Hampshire, and so I especially appreciate the variety of backgrounds and
experiences that our group brings to the Institute. Currently I am Deputy
Librarian of the College and have previously held the positions of Director of
Administrative Services and Circulation Services Librarian -- including
responsibilities as a reference-bibliographer. In addition to managing people,
money and buildings for the library system, for the past six years I also have
managed a large building project that will combine facilities for both the
Library and Computing Services as well as classrooms and academic offices.
There's still another year of construction (the jackhammers are now inside the
building!) so life is busy and interesting.
I am looking forward to learning/sharing from/with you.
