Joanna Dyla

Joanna Dyla Yet another one from Stanford . . .

I joined Stanford in May of 1997 in a split assignment as Slavic Serials Cataloger and NACO Coordinator. As a matter of fact, my entire professional career since my graduation from UC Berkeley in 1987 has been in cataloging, most recently as head of the MARC Unit in the Cataloging Services Department. We catalog materials in all formats at all levels of cataloging except copy cataloging of monographs.

I have also been participating for more than a decade in the Program for Cooperative Cataloging and since 1995 have been a regional NACO trainer teaching week-long workshops to new member institutions on the West Coast.

I look forward to meeting you all at Stanford during what promises to be a very interesting week.
