Saving $70 'key' to great conference
Your room key is one valuable key -- guard it with your life! There is a $70 charge if you lose the key. Keys will need to be turned in at the end of the conference. If you do not return your key at check out next Saturday the same $70 charge will apply.
Just in case you're wondering what to do in the evening . . .
Tuesday and Thursday evenings there are optional sessions for participants, featuring hands-on web tools training, a visioning workshop, and discussion groups. All the sessions are on a drop in basis except the Web Tools for Librarians, which has a capacity of only 20. Sign up in advance on the sign up on at the Institute Governor's Corner Office.
If you're feeling lost . . .
Check out your Institute notebook -- it's a "virtual" lifeline. Chosse which Afternoon Session you want to attend. Settle down to some good reading in the Case Study section. Find out who you're going to be spending the week with in the Roster section. Check out the Leadership Group information in the Schedule section. Lost? Look at the campus map in the Stanford Information section. And if you've got the urge to write about all those great things you're learning -- try out the Daily Journal in the Miscellaneous section.
