The focus of this talk is that the key to building diverse leadership teams is the development of internal organizational assets by growing your own leadership. Drawing from personal and professional experience, I will speak to building diverse organizational and community leadership by recruiting, promoting and retaining key team members from within our own organizational resources by encouraging community participation, calculated risk-taking and ultimately creating a "learning organization."
